Hatfield first called as Bishop's Hatfield, is in the Welwyn Hatfield district of Hertfordshire, in the south of England. It is known as the town where the first production-line jet airliner, The Royal Palace of Hatfield in the West Garden is where Elizabeth spent most of her childhood. There is a row of gracious Georgian properties stepped up Fore Street, and both Park Street and Church Street have buildings of architectual interest. In the Park, an oak tree marks the place where the young Princess Elizabeth first heard of her accession to the throne. It was also the location of the de Havilland aircraft factory.
